Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas fellow bloggers! I thought that since I'm sitting at the front desk at work (yes, sadly I'm working Christmas Eve) that I would update my blog. For those of you who have been bugging me to update, I'm sorry. I'm really horrible at taking the time to write - that coming from somebody who wants to make a living at writing. Writing fiction is so much more intriguing, though, than writing about me.
I love Christmas time. Not because of the presents or the excuse to eat yummy food or whatever the media has come up with to capitalize on it. I love Christmas time because people are always a little nicer to each other, kind of like how we should be all year round. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and the symbolic meaning His miraculous birth means to all of mankind.
To all my friends and family and whoever happens to stumble across my blog, Merry Christmas.

I am excited to announce that my sister and her family, who have been in Texas for several years now, are not only moving back to Utah, but to Cache Valley as well! That means I will be able to see a lot more of my three adorable nieces and my newest nephew.

My brother Adam and his wife Judie have to find a new place to live. Adam is doing an internship with Nasa in Houston, and because of the hurricane, the apartment they were living in has been condemned.

My friend Annie, who, if she ever gets up the courage to try out for American Idol, I have promised to be her groupie, works in Salt Lake City, just two blocks away from where American Idol was having callbacks. As she was having lunch with Russ on the steps of the Galivan building, guess who pulls up in a limo? RANDY JACKSON! and the new judge. (I don't get why they are having four judges - I thought they were doing fine with three. Oh well, I guess we'll find out soon enough)

For all of you who have been bugging me to update my blog, I decided to just start with a fresh new blog. So here it is!

I'm sad to say that I've been caught up in the Phelps frenzy. I've been watching Michael Phelps in the Olympics and can I just say AMAZING! And he's not that bad looking to watch. But I am truly amazed watching him swim at world record speeds.

I moved into a new apartment yesterday. I'm really excited because now I have a second room that will be my office where I can work on my writing.

Last night, I went to the wedding reception of an old family friend. Seeing him and his family was awesome. Growing up, they were like my second family, so it was really neat to see them and find out everything they've been up to.

Stay tuned for more :o)
